Ceremonial-Grade Cacao Block - 200g
Ceremonial-Grade Cacao Block - 200g
Sourced from Quillabamba, Peru, our ceremonial Chuncho Cacao is grown on a small family farm in the fertile valleys of this high jungle region using organic and regenerative practices.
Our growers have a deep respect and connection with Cacao and the land on which it is grown, embodying the concept of reciprocity - nurturing the ecosystem that allows the Cacao to thrive and creating a balanced and sustainable relationship between the Cacao trees, the land and the growers themselves.
Chuncho is a high quality, fine flavour variety of Cacao native to Peru, first cultivated by the indigenous Machiguenga people for ceremonial and medicinal purposes.
We are honoured to share this sacred plant for your journey within.
Tasting Notes: Dried fruit, nutty undertones, low acidity, low bitterness.
